Charity Golf Tournament fore CHEO
The 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament fore CHEO will be held at the Canadian Golf and Country Club on July 20th, 2012. We will have a shot-gun start with a best-ball format. Stuntman Stu of MAJIC100 and the Ottawa Senators Announcer will host our tournament.
The Charity Golf Tournament fore CHEO is being held in support of a program called 'Plan-It Safe'. Corrine Langill and her team are dedicated to eliminating preventable childhood injuries in our city. Their mission is to increase local capacity, strengthen public policy, ensure effective programming and advocate for the creation of safe environments to reduce the toll injuries take on children and youth in Eastern Ontario. The Centre works in collaboration with many of the community partners who deliver injury prevention programming. It’s core competencies are injury surveillance, research and program evaluation, consultation on program planning, implementation and evaluation, advocacy and professional and public education.
